Over a period of twelve days, Buddhist Monks of the Drepung Loseling Monastery of Tibet created a magnificent Tantric Buddhist sand mandala in the sanctuary of Unity North Atlanta Church.  Millions of grains of sand were painstakingly laid into place on a flat platform, and after it's completion and a celebration, it was released to the wind and water.  This mandala design represents the holiday season and is the Buddha Akshobhya or the Global Peace Mandala. They will be returning in December of 2005. For more information about this and Unity North Atlanta Church, go to http://www.unitynorth.org.
